A varied and nutritious meal is provided for all residents. A choice is offered at all meals and special diets are catered for. The advice of a dietician will be sought where necessary.
Residents’ meals and refreshments are served as follows:
Early morning cup of tea (optional) is served from 6.30am onwards.
Breakfast is served from 7.30am onwards. This is served in the dining room or in your own room if preferred.
Lunch is served at 12.30pm and is served in the dining room.
Tea is served from 4.30pm onwards. This is served in the dining room.
Supper is served from 8.30pm onwards. This will be brought to you.
Residents are also served tea/coffee and biscuits during the day at the following times:
- Morning: from 10.30am
- Afternoon: from 2.00pm
- Evening: from 6.00pm
Any resident who wishes to have meals at any other time will be respected and causes no problem to us. Any one wishing to have hot/cold drinks throughout the day are able to do so on request throughout any 24 hours.
While every effort is made to ensure provision for each individual preference Highcliffe do not provide an “a la carte “ menu.
Residents may be allowed to have a kettle for tea making facilities in their own room. If this is preferred a risk assessment must be taken for the safety of everyone in the building.
